Hi ladies, I totally understand that finding the right dress within budget is difficult sometimes. I decided to go with a brand new dress because I thought I might keep the dress forever. However, I am selling this dress now due to some personal reasons. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and bagged and the total cost of the dress plus alteration plus dry cleaning is CAD$3374.86 (Please check the price with any wedding dress boutique. CAD$2584.86 after tax for the dress, CAD$540 alteration cost and CAD$250 dry cleaning). For you ladies who are just starting to dress hunt, please note that if you buy it brand new, you have to do alteration anyway because all wedding dresses are very long. I can only get a fraction of the total cost back but I am happy to see the dress being in the right hands of another beautiful bride. :) Additional photos and precise measurement can be provided if interested.
I have only worn this dress once for 6 hours at my destination wedding in Hawaii. It's a very beautifully beaded dress with delicate lace pattern all over the dress, especially at the back (deep V low back with lace and beads). I am a very petite Asian girl and this size 00 dress wraps my body perfectly. For your reference, in Canada, I wear all brands XXS/XS, such as Aritzia or Club Monaco. I trimmed the hem because I am only 5'2 and hemming is common for all new wedding dresses. I wore it with my Manolo Blahnik Classic high heels (4 1/4") on the day of the wedding so you know approximately how long it is now. I didn't have to make any other alteration except shortening the straps because I want my breast area to look fuller. Hidden straps can be easily extended back to the original length. There is also added butsle strap inside the train of the dress for convenience purposes. Also good for dancing at reception! I still have the fabric/lace/beads from the trimmed hem if needed.
In addition, I am giving away the matching veil for free! It has the exact crystal beads as the dress and I bought it for CAD$250. It is brand new as I only wore it for 2 hours at the chapel (I took it off for the rest of my wedding since I wanted some photos without a veil).
